Poker books?????????????/? - poker books
I have $ $ 80 in gift cards from Barnes and Noble.
IM 16 years old. male.
I want to buy books on poker. My friends and I once or twice a week, only $ 10 tournaments in general smaller than 7-9 people. I also play online at Full Tilt for microeconomic issues.
I have downloaded on my computer, some books, but they are a nuisance to read. I know the system is super super system * 2 *, The Theory of Poker * Poker for Advanced Players * Phil Gordon, and small green and blue books are good but do not know what to buy.
***** I have these books on my computer, but when I try to show themselves to be distracted me, so I feel I must
I'll put my books in order from Barnes and noble.com
Also I do not want to spend all my money in poker books?
What do you recommend for a boy of 16 years who can not only read it.

Yes, we have the answer ...
David Sklansky (Theory of Poker "and" Advanced Player Series ") is possibly one of the most boring writer that has never read. We like reading textbooks. Information, but also to sleep things.'s Super System 1 a.m.-2 p.m. are good books but rather advanced. Again, pretty boring stuff. SS2 is not as good as the original, but it covers most of the games that are played today. 5 Card Stud, and almost from the regular poker game is gone.
Here are a few good starter "books are good reads as follows:
To get a good reading and good information, so I recommend anything by Mike Caro. It's a funny guy, and written in a style very entertaining. Easy said they were still good information.
Another good author Lou Krieger. (Poker for Dummies, HoldEm Excellence.) Not from a "Dummies" book has good information about them intimidated. Again, very readable. HoldEm Excellence is told as a narrative whole, and therefore not simply statistics and strategy for you to discard it. Also"Run the Table" at the end of the book is the best starting hand point out that to find you.
Finally, try some of TJ Cloutier, Tom McEvoy. His books have many anecdotes, the writing is relaxed, and the first information.
They have books on poker in his large library, which are a little ahead of where you are as a player. Try some of these authors, but probably the thing you stick until it is "ready" for them.
Buy "Harrington on Hold 'em", which is the best book on poker tournament. Do not read "Super System" or "Theory of Poker", if you're not a reader. These books are great, but if you wish, books that offer a real basis in the tournament, "Harrington on Hold 'em 1 a.m.-2 p.m." very clear in a very complex issue.
Super system is not very useful for games that play like that amplifies focused on gambling. It is better to read books about Sit and Go, which describe much closer to the game that you.
A good book for SNG strategy SNG book Colin Moshman, discussed here:
